Costa Rica: This farm has a special place in our heart! In 2005 Hallot was introduced to chocolate making by the owner of the farm who was beginning to make his own chocolate in house. This began our journey, and we have never looked back. These beans are Certified Organic & Rainforest Alliance Certified from the Guapiles region. This years harvest has notes of coffee, green wood and natural vanilla.
Carenero Superior, Venezuela: This is the backbone of our line. The predominant bean in our blended bars, and in our confections and truffles. Carenero from Venezuela has cinnamon, tobacco and dried cherry characteristics.
Piura Blanco, Peru: A complex Peruvian bean with big fruit. Organic and co-op sourced, chocolate from this bean earned us a 2016 Good Food Award!
