Check out our new space!
On July 5, 2025, we opened our doors at Gateway Plaza. We are so excited to get to make our chocolate in this new space and share it with everyone. Aside from more space, there are a few highlights of the space:
Scooped ice cream - you can now get our ice cream by the scoop in a cup or house made waffle cone. Check out our current flavors.
Production viewing - we have 4 windows that give you a glimpse into the factory side. You can get a glimpse of the chocolate makers at work and see some of our really cool (and some really old) machines. If you want someone to explain what's going on through those windows, book a tour!
Indoor seating - our new space has indoor seating a restroom for patrons! If you were a regular of our old location, you know this is big deal! Not only do we have indoor seating, but there is covered seating at the front and an open patio in the back of our building - something comfortable for all weather.
Everything you've always loved about Escazú - yes we have new stuff, but we also have everything that you've always come to us for in the past. Confections by the piece, chocolate bars, bean to bar hot chocolate, Counter Culture coffee, specials and local retail. And of course, that delicious smell when you walk through the doors.
Ein Geschäftswechsel ist immer ein großer Schritt. Das hat uns damals auch vor Augen geführt, wie wichtig ein genauer Überblick über alle betrieblichen Anlagen ist – von der Produktionsmaschine bis zum Bürocomputer. Ohne eine zentrale Lösung kann so ein Umzug schnell im Chaos enden. Seitdem nutzen wir eine spezielle Fixed Asset Software, die uns eine lückenlose Dokumentation, genaue Standortverfolgung und eine korrekte Bewertung für Versicherung und Bilanz ermöglicht. Das gibt euch hoffentlich auch von Anfang an im neuen Zuhause mehr Kontrolle. Alles Gute für den Neustart
Congrats on the move! Relocating a business is always a big step, and I can imagine how exciting it is to settle into a new space. While updating a location, I also think about comfort and energy efficiency, especially in areas where people gather or work for long hours.
